Meet the Team

At Purity Farm and Garden, we take pride in our history. We have been serving generations of B.C. farmers, ranchers and homeowners.

JOHN MCCURRACH

Owner, President

John is the third generation owner of Purity Feed, purchasing the business from his dad Sandy, in 2002. When John bought Purity Feed, the business was a regional supplier of farm and feed products with retail farm supply stores in Kamloops and Merritt,  BC. In 2003 a new warehouse and retail facility was built in Kamloops to supply more services and supplies to Purity customers. At this time John expanded by developing a technical sales and services division to supply goods and services to the specialty crop markets, forage and hay growers as well as establishing a foothold in the aerial application of range and pasture products for invasive weeds throughout BC. John's passion for growth and change has led Purity Feed to become one of the most respected independent retailers of farm supply products, agricultural services and reclamation supplies in North and South Central BC.

Being a family owned business with deep roots in the communities that Purity serves John believes in giving back to the communities that support Purity Feed. Some of the causes that Purity Feed supports include: Royal Island Hospital Foundation, Kamloops Hospice, Ponderosa Lodge, Little Britches and BC High School Rodeo, Kamloops Therapeutic Riding Association and 4H.
